CM Rekha Gupta Congratulates New Delhi Mayor, Deputy Mayor; Stresses Coordination for City Development

New Delhi: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday congratulated the newly elected Mayor Pravesh Wahi and Deputy Mayor Dr. Monika Pant following a courtesy meeting held earlier in the day.

In a post on social media platform X, the Chief Minister extended her best wishes to both leaders, describing their victory as a reflection of the public’s strong faith in development and good governance in the national capital.

She emphasized that improved coordination between the Delhi Government and the Municipal Corporation will play a crucial role in fulfilling public aspirations and achieving comprehensive development goals for the city.

“The mandate reflects people’s trust in continuity of development and good governance. Together, we are committed to delivering on public expectations,” she noted.

Expressing confidence in their leadership, the Chief Minister said that under their guidance, the municipal administration would take welfare initiatives to new heights. She also wished them a successful and impactful tenure ahead.
