New Delhi: The Delhi government has launched the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana, under which eligible women will receive monthly financial assistance of ₹2,500 from September 1.
In an official announcement, the government said approval letters were issued to more than 4,000 eligible women at the launch of the scheme. It added that registrations under the programme had crossed 9.22 lakh.
The government urged eligible women who have not yet applied to complete their registration. The announcement described the scheme as a monthly financial-support initiative for women in the national capital.
