The Chief Minister extended her warm greetings to the devotees and community members present at the event, expressing her gratitude for the invitation to participate in this significant cultural and spiritual gathering. She noted that the temple’s atmosphere evoked memories of other South Indian temples she had visited, praising the Malayali community in Delhi for successfully recreating a similar sacred and cultural environment.
“I am deeply thankful to the community for placing their trust in me and electing me as Chief Minister,” she added, acknowledging the support she has received.
During the function, Gupta also encouraged attendees to register for the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, a health initiative designed to provide access to quality healthcare and financial protection for families.
The annual celebration, attended by hundreds of devotees, featured traditional rituals, bhajans, and cultural performances, showcasing the rich heritage of the Malayali community. Established in 1989, the Uttaraguruvayurappan Temple serves as a vital spiritual and cultural hub for Malayalis in Delhi.
