New Delhi: A major infrastructure push was launched in the R K Puram Assembly constituency on Tuesday, with development projects worth nearly ₹100 crore being inaugurated under the BJP-led government.

Addressing the event, BJP leader Rekha Gupta said that Delhi’s development had remained stalled for over a decade, but has gained fresh momentum in the last 11 months under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“After 11 years of neglect, Delhi’s development is finally back on track. Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the BJP government has brought renewed speed and direction to infrastructure growth in the capital,” she said.

The newly launched projects in RK Puram include:

  • Repair and construction of roads
  • Renovation of dilapidated village chaupals
  • Modernisation of community centres
  • Beautification of parks
  • Installation of open gym equipment
  • Construction of boundary walls at key locations

The initiatives aim to improve civic amenities, public spaces, and overall quality of life for residents in the constituency.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Bansuri Swaraj, RK Puram MLA Anil Sharma, District BJP President Ravindra Chaudhary, Municipal Councillor Dharmveer Singh, along with several local dignitaries and party workers.

Party leaders said the projects reflect the BJP’s commitment to accelerating urban development and addressing long-pending civic infrastructure needs across Delhi.
