LG Taranjit Singh Sandhu Congratulates PM Modi on Becoming India’s Longest-Serving Elected Prime Minister

New Delhi, June 10: Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in the history of Bharat.

In a message posted on X, Sandhu described the milestone as a historic achievement and a reflection of the Prime Minister’s leadership and the continued trust reposed in him by the people of the country.

“Heartiest congratulations to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji on becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in the history of Bharat today,” Sandhu wrote.

The Lieutenant Governor said the achievement stands as a powerful testament to Prime Minister Modi’s unwavering dedication, visionary leadership and the enduring confidence placed in him by citizens through successive electoral mandates.

Sandhu further stated that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India continues to achieve new milestones in development, governance and international standing.

“This historic milestone is a powerful testament to his unwavering dedication, visionary leadership, and the profound, enduring trust reposed in him by the people of Bharat through consecutive mandates. Under his guidance, our nation continues to scale unprecedented heights of progress, inclusive development, and global prestige,” he said.

The congratulatory message comes as Prime Minister Modi reached another landmark in his political career, becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister of independent India.

The Lieutenant Governor’s remarks highlighted the Prime Minister’s role in shaping the country’s development trajectory and enhancing India’s profile on the global stage.
