New Delhi: In a major intelligence-led operation, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of the Delhi Police Crime Branch has busted a significant heroin supply network, arresting a proclaimed offender carrying a reward of ₹20,000.
During the operation, police recovered 100 grams of heroin from a vehicle, taking the total seizure in the case to 612 grams of heroin (smack), estimated to be worth around ₹3 crore in the international market. The accused is believed to be a key supplier in a larger narcotics network operating across Delhi.
Officials confirmed that the vehicle used for transporting the contraband has also been seized as part of the crackdown.
The operation was led by Inspector Vikas Pannu under the supervision of ACP Kuldeep Yadav, with overall monitoring by DCP Rahool Alwal. The successful bust highlights Delhi Police’s continued efforts to dismantle drug trafficking networks in the national capital.
