NEW DELHI: In a historic announcement, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta unveiled her first budget, outlining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government’s ten key focus areas. These areas include infrastructure development, water management, electricity provision, and road development. She Presented Budget of ₹1 Lakh Crore. This marked a significant 31.5 percent increase from the previous year.
Gupta described the Budget as a historic milestone, emphasizing the government’s dedication to eliminating corruption and inefficiency. In a move aimed at enhancing welfare, Rs 5,100 crore has been set aside to provide eligible women with Rs 2,500 per month. Additionally, Rs 2,144 crore has been allocated to strengthen healthcare services in the capital through the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
