New Delhi: A serious controversy has emerged from Delhi Cantonment, where social media influencer Pradeep Dhaka has accused Ankit Kadiyan, son of AAP MLA Virender Kadiyan, of assault, robbery and intimidation. Videos related to the alleged incident have gone viral on social media, triggering widespread public reaction and prompting a police investigation.
According to Pradeep Dhaka’s complaint, the incident occurred on the night of December 6, 2025, when he was returning home from Chhatarpur. At around 11:30 pm, a white Ertiga car allegedly began following his vehicle near the Delhi Cantt area. Dhaka claims the occupants used sirens and headlight dippers to force him to stop.
The influencer has alleged that five people were inside the car, appeared to be intoxicated, and that Ankit Kadiyan verbally abused him, assaulted him, and robbed ₹8,400 from his pocket. He further claimed that during the chase, his car was deliberately rammed in an attempt to stop him.

Dhaka also alleged that the assault continued in the presence of police, during which he suffered a broken tooth and his gold chain was snatched. He claimed that AAP MLA Virender Kadiyan later arrived at Delhi Cantt Police Station, where he was allegedly assaulted again and threatened with being framed in a false case.
Pradeep Dhaka has filed a formal police complaint and claims to possess video evidence supporting his allegations. Delhi Police officials have stated that the matter is under investigation and clarified that all allegations are currently based on the complainant’s statement, with the truth to be established after due inquiry.
So far, no official response has been issued by MLA Virender Kadiyan or his son Ankit Kadiyan regarding the allegations. Meanwhile, the viral videos continue to circulate widely, with social media users expressing sharp reactions and demanding accountability.
Police have said further action will depend on the findings of the ongoing investigation.
