New Delhi, Sept 10: The Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) election 2025 has officially entered its decisive phase as the nomination process concluded today at the election officer’s office amid a day filled with chaos and excitement.

According to officials, nominations were filed for the posts of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Joint Secretary until 3:00 pm. Sources confirmed that while over a dozen candidates showed interest, final panels will be declared soon.

Students’ High Enthusiasm for DUSU Polls

The DUSU elections, scheduled for September 18, have created a wave of enthusiasm among students across campuses. The vote counting will be held on September 19.

Students expressed that this election is not just about politics but also about addressing ground-level issues such as youth special buses, hostel allocation, and academic reforms. One candidate highlighted that “25 youth special buses have already been launched in Delhi this year, and a centralized hostel allocation system has also started.”
