New Delhi: The Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut Namo Bharat corridor has crossed a major milestone of 3 crore passenger journeys, marking a sharp rise in adoption and commuter trust in the high-speed regional transit system, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation Ltd (NCRTC) said in a post on X.
What stands out is the pace of growth. After reaching the 2 crore mark in December 2025, the corridor added another crore journeys in less than five months, underlining a significant acceleration in ridership.
Officials indicate that over the past two years, Namo Bharat has evolved from a newly launched mobility option into a reliable daily commute choice for thousands across the National Capital Region (NCR). The service is increasingly being preferred for its speed, safety, and commuter comfort, especially on high-density routes connecting Delhi with Ghaziabad and Meerut.
The milestone reflects a broader shift in travel behaviour, with commuters gradually moving towards faster, predictable, and modern public transport systems. With consistent ridership growth, Namo Bharat is positioning itself as a key pillar in NCR’s regional connectivity network.
The NCRTC noted that the achievement is not merely a numerical benchmark but a sign of growing public confidence in next-generation transit infrastructure, as the corridor continues to gain traction among daily travellers.
