Delhi Youth Shot Dead in Jahangirpuri, Friends Abandon Him at Hospital, Police Suspect Involvement

New Delhi: A shocking murder case in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri has raised serious concerns after a young man, Rohit Barad, was shot below his left shoulder and later succumbed to injuries at a hospital.

The Delhi Police revealed that the victim’s friends rushed him to the hospital, but mysteriously fled the scene shortly after, triggering suspicions of their involvement in the Jahangirpuri shooting.

Police officials are treating the incident as a homicide investigation and have launched a manhunt for the fleeing friends, who could hold key details about the sequence of events leading to Rohit’s death.

Authorities are also working to trace the murder weapon and verify whether the shooting was the result of a spontaneous altercation or a premeditated act. The case adds to the growing list of violent crimes in Delhi, once again raising concerns over youth safety and urban law enforcement.
