NIA Arrests Two More in ₹17.29-Crore Saharanpur Currency Chest Counterfeit Case

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency has arrested two more accused in a counterfeit-currency conspiracy linked to ₹17.29 crore recovered from Punjab National Bank’s currency chest in Saharanpur.

According to the agency’s statement, the latest arrests form part of its investigation into a wider alleged conspiracy. The NIA said its probe into other suspects and the broader network remains under way.

The arrests and case amount were announced by NIA India through an official statement shared on X.
