Burari’s ₹120-Crore Road Revamp Advances; Tender for 7.1-km Stretch Due in 10 Days

New Delhi: A ₹120-crore package of road and drainage works has been outlined for Burari, with the tender for the road component expected within 10 days, Delhi minister Parvesh Sahib Singh said.

The plan covers 7.1 kilometres of road improvement: 3.9 km of RCC road from Baba Colony to Nathupura and 3.2 km of bituminous road linking Outer Ring Road to Baba Colony and Nathupura to Hiranki. It also includes about 9.3 km of drainage work from Amrit Vihar to Bengali Colony and from Swaroop Nagar turn to Burari Creek.

According to the post, the drainage tender has already been completed. The stated objective is to address damaged roads and waterlogging in the area.
