New Delhi: In a continued crackdown on illegal weapons and “gun culture,” Delhi Police has arrested an alleged member of the Gogi gang for brandishing a firearm on social media.
According to a post shared by the Outer North District police on X, the accused was identified through cyber patrolling after videos of him flaunting an illegal weapon surfaced online. Acting on the input, a police team tracked and arrested the suspect from the Alipur area.

Police confirmed that one pistol was recovered from the accused at the time of arrest. However, no further details regarding the make, model, or origin of the seized weapon have been disclosed so far.

Officials reiterated their “zero tolerance” stance against gun culture, stating that strict action will continue against individuals promoting or possessing illegal firearms, especially on social media platforms.
Further investigation is underway to determine the source of the weapon and possible links to other criminal activities or gang networks.
