An official said the emails received contain threats of hidden bombs within classrooms or school premises, similar to earlier hoax threats. No explosive devices have been found so far, but investigations are underway to trace the origin of the emails and determine whether there is a coordinated pattern.

The Ministry of Home Affairs is also being kept in the loop, and cybercrime units have been roped in to identify the source.

Meanwhile, parents were seen rushing to school campuses to ensure the safety of their children, with some institutions deciding to suspend classes for the day.

This wave of threats, recurring within days, has raised serious questions about school security and the psychological impact on children and parents.
