New Delhi: The Delhi government is set to introduce a dedicated software platform aimed at real-time monitoring of Delhi Jal Board (DJB) projects, ensuring timely completion and enhancing accountability, announced Minister Parvesh Verma on Monday.
According to officials, this innovative digital platform will meticulously track daily progress, identify responsible officers, set deadlines, and provide an overall status update for each project.
“The people of Delhi deserve timely services. Project delays undermine public trust, which is why we are committed to leveraging technology for daily monitoring, clear accountability, and on-time completion,” Verma stated.
“Our primary objectives are transparency, responsibility, and tangible results,” he emphasized.
The new system will promptly identify delays and assign accountability where necessary. It will operate on a structured workflow, featuring clearly defined phases, deadlines, and designated officers for each project.
“This initiative will enhance coordination among departments and streamline decision-making processes. All updates and data entries will be recorded on a centralized portal, allowing officers to access the real-time status of any project,” the minister explained.
Verma further noted that the platform will significantly reduce paperwork, support data-driven decision-making, and bolster accountability across the board, ultimately leading to improved outcomes for the public.
