Parvesh announced a review of these rates to encourage more people to connect legally. Additionally, he mentioned the imposition of penalties on those found illegally consuming water after a specified deadline. To monitor water supply and ensure transparency, new tenders are being issued for GPS-enabled tankers, which will be tracked using GPS technology, with detailed documentation of water distribution points.
