Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Assures Maulana Azad Medical College Students of Swift Redressal of Grievances

Date:

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta chaired a crucial meeting with students of Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) to address their concerns and gather suggestions on improving medical education and infrastructure. During the interaction, the CM assured the students of immediate resolution to their issues and emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing the state’s healthcare delivery system.

Highlighting a recent discussion with Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena, CM Gupta said the focus remains on strengthening health infrastructure, expanding access, and ensuring safe and modern healthcare services for the people of the capital.

“We are working in close coordination with the LG’s office to make Delhi’s healthcare system more accessible, advanced and responsive to current needs,” said the Chief Minister.

The meeting comes at a time when the Delhi government is stepping up efforts to revamp existing hospitals and medical institutions across the city, especially in the wake of growing demand for quality public health services.

The engagement with MAMC students also underlines the government’s approach of inclusive policymaking, where stakeholder feedback from frontline medical professionals and students plays a key role in shaping future decisions.
