Together with the Central Government, Delhi is moving ahead in mission mode towards a cleaner Yamuna and a Viksit Delhi,” the Chief Minister stated.
As part of the infrastructure expansion, the Delhi government has approved a ₹57 crore project in Trilokpuri for rehabilitation of an ageing trunk sewer line aimed at improving sewer connectivity and reducing leakages.
In Shahdara, a ₹27 crore project has been sanctioned for the development of an underground reservoir and booster pumping station to strengthen water supply infrastructure in the area.
The government has also announced major upgrades at the Keshopur Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) under Phase-1 works.
