Security agencies remain on high alert across Delhi after the explosion that sent shockwaves through the Old Delhi area. The Delhi Police Special Cell and CISF have continued round-the-clock investigations and forensic analysis at the blast site.

Authorities had earlier sealed Gates 1 and 4 of the Lal Qila Metro Station immediately after the blast. Following the incident, security checks were intensified at all metro stations under the Violet Line, with additional deployment of personnel and advanced scanning of bags and luggage.

The explosion also triggered massive traffic congestion across Netaji Subhash Marg, Jama Masjid, Daryaganj, and Kodia Pul, forcing police to divert vehicles toward Shantivan Chowk and other alternate routes. Long queues of stranded vehicles were seen for hours.

While metro services on the Violet Line continue to operate normally, the Red Fort station will stay shut until further clearance from security agencies. DMRC has urged passengers to stay updated through official channels and avoid spreading rumors.

The Delhi Police and forensic experts are still determining the cause and intent behind the blast, with investigators exploring whether it was a coordinated act or a single-incident detonation.
