New Delhi: Education Minister Ashish Sood inaugurated a cutting-edge ‘Future Lab’ at Vivekanand School, Anand Vihar, on Saturday and honoured students who excelled in board exams and national and international competitions.
Calling it a visionary initiative, Sood said the lab aims to foster creativity, innovation, and critical thinking among students. “This lab isn’t just about learning technology—it’s about building creators, not just consumers,” he said.

Quoting Swami Vivekananda, Sood offered students three guiding values:
- Curiosity – Never suppress your questions.
- Courage – Face challenges directly.
- Strength – A strong body and resilient mind build a strong nation.
Encouraging students to embrace artificial intelligence responsibly, Sood noted, “AI is the future. Use it wisely and prepare for the challenges ahead.”
He concluded by calling students the architects of India’s future. “By 2047, when India marks 100 years of independence, today’s learners will be leading the nation. Education is the launchpad for that future,” he said.
