New Delhi: A virtual meeting of the International Council of Shri Mathur Chaturvedi Mahaparishad was held on Sunday at 6.30 pm under the chairmanship of Neeraj Chaturvedi.
During the meeting, it was unanimously decided to dissolve the existing international executive body with immediate effect, except for the presidents of the United States, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates. The decision was taken to facilitate a complete restructuring of the global executive in line with the organisation’s future objectives.
As per the chairperson’s directions, presidents of all regional and country units have been asked to consult senior members and constitute new executive bodies at the earliest. It was clarified that only lifetime members and actively involved community members will be considered for positions in the newly formed executive committees.
The Council also resolved to celebrate the Foundation Day of the Mahaparishad from February 22 to February 24, 2026. Members across regions have been encouraged to organise social and community-oriented programmes such as sports events, competitions and other collective activities during this period.
In another key decision, the Mahaparishad announced that virtual meetings of global office-bearers from all countries will now be held every two months, aimed at strengthening coordination and dialogue among international chapters.
With a renewed and focused vision, the organisation resolved to initiate new programmes for the holistic development of the community, while expanding engagement and outreach at the international level. Members from Dubai and the United States actively participated in discussions with the India-based leadership on various organisational and community matters. Several other key issues were also deliberated upon in detail.
The decisions were formally communicated by Pranav (Chetan) Chaturvedi, National General Secretary (Organisation) of the Mahaparishad.
