New Delhi: A shocking murder has been reported from East Delhi, where a 22-year-old delivery boy was stabbed to death in the Pandav Nagar police station limits. The incident took place in the Acharya Niketan area, triggering concern over rising violent crime in the national capital.

According to the Delhi Police, a PCR call was received at around 8:15 pm on February 2, reporting that a young man had been attacked with a knife. A police team rushed to the spot and immediately shifted the injured victim to LBS Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The victim sustained multiple stab injuries to the neck and chest. He was later identified as Arun Raj (22), son of Raj Shekhar, a resident of Patparganj. Police said the nature of injuries indicated a brutal attack.

Preliminary investigation suggests that three youths arrived on a motorcycle and got into an argument with the delivery boy. The dispute escalated quickly, following which the attackers allegedly assaulted him with a sharp-edged weapon before fleeing the scene.

A crime team inspected the spot, and nearby CCTV footage was scanned to trace the accused. Police investigation later revealed that all three suspects involved in the incident are minors.

One juvenile was apprehended initially, and the remaining two were subsequently taken into custody. Police officials said all three minors are being questioned to ascertain the exact motive behind the murder. Further legal action is underway as per juvenile justice norms.

Police have stated that the investigation is ongoing and more details will emerge after sustained questioning and analysis of evidence.
