Delhi Police Crack Down on Illegal Arms Manufacturing and Trafficking Gang

New Delhi: In a significant operation, the Delhi Police’s Crime Branch has taken decisive action against a gang involved in the manufacturing and trafficking of illegal weapons. On March 19, 2026, a police team apprehended a trafficker supplying arms near the Badli Railway Station. During the search, officers discovered a pen-sized pistol that the suspect had brought from Meerut.

Following this, the police raided a factory located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where they arrested the main perpetrator involved in the illegal arms manufacturing and sales. Additionally, two other members of this gang had already been arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Police.

The operation resulted in the recovery of 24 pen pistols, 78 magazines, and a significant quantity of weapons manufacturing tools and raw materials.
