Delhi Police Commissioner’s Big Message: Strict Enforcement with Respect for Citizens

New Delhi: Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha on Saturday interacted with officers and personnel of the Delhi Traffic Police at the PHQ auditorium, emphasising the importance of balanced policing that combines firmness with courtesy.

Addressing the gathering, the Commissioner delivered a clear message, stating that police personnel must remain polite and respectful towards citizens while ensuring strict and impartial enforcement of traffic rules.

The interaction aimed at reinforcing discipline, professionalism, and citizen-friendly conduct among traffic police officials, who play a crucial role in maintaining order on city roads.

Golcha stressed that adherence to rules should not come at the cost of public trust, highlighting that respectful engagement with citizens is equally important in effective policing.

The session also served as a platform for dialogue, allowing officers to align with the leadership’s vision of maintaining law and order through fairness, accountability, and sensitivity.
