New Delhi: In yet another shocking incident highlighting the growing chain snatching cases in Delhi, a woman in Shakarpur’s D-Block was brutally attacked and robbed of her jewellery by two bike-borne miscreants.

According to CCTV footage, the woman was walking through a deserted lane when one of the assailants approached from behind, grabbed her neck, and strangled her so tightly that she collapsed unconscious on the spot. The attacker then snatched her gold chain and earrings, before fleeing the scene with his accomplice, who was waiting on a scooter.

The entire incident unfolded within seconds, leaving the victim helpless. While cases involving high-profile individuals, such as MPs, are often solved within 24 hours, locals question why ordinary citizens are forced to wait much longer for justice in similar crimes.
