New Delhi: Traffic restrictions will remain in force in Chittaranjan Park and Greater Kailash-II from 4 pm to midnight each day until October 20 for Durga Puja celebrations, Delhi Traffic Police said.
The advisory covers the five-day period beginning October 16. Police have asked devotees and other commuters to plan their journeys in advance and allow additional travel time.
Visitors have been advised to use the Delhi Metro, avoid roads affected by the restrictions and refrain from unauthorised parking.
Police appealed to road users to follow traffic regulations and cooperate with personnel deployed on duty during the celebrations.
