Keep Ambulances Moving Through Ramlila Crowds: Delhi Traffic Police Brief 73 Organisers

Date:

NEW DELHI: Ambulances and fire tenders must be able to reach Ramlila venues without being trapped by crowds or parked vehicles, Delhi Traffic Police emphasised at a coordination meeting with 73 organisers.

Ramlila committees from the Central, Eastern and Northern ranges took part in discussions on smooth traffic movement and public safety ahead of the festivities.

Separate gates and clear emergency routes

Organisers were briefed on separate entry and exit gates, safe pedestrian movement and designated parking arrangements. Deployment of marshals was another key point in managing crowds.

The police stressed unobstructed emergency access for ambulances and fire tenders. Committees were asked to maintain close coordination so crowd and parking arrangements do not delay emergency vehicles.
