NEW DELHI: Students living away from home in paying-guest accommodation around Delhi University had an opportunity to raise their concerns directly with North District police.

The police said they held an open dialogue with students staying in PG accommodation in the DU area, with the emphasis on listening and building trust.

The outreach was shared with the message “Away from home, closer to your police”. Officers encouraged students to feel that their concerns matter and that the police are available to listen.
