New Delhi: A mild earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck the Delhi-NCR region on Thursday morning, sending waves of panic across parts of the capital and surrounding areas.
According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake occurred at 09:04:50 IST with an epicenter located in Jhajjar, Haryana at a depth of 10 kilometers. The coordinates recorded were Latitude: 28.63 N and Longitude: 76.68 E.

Tremors were widely felt across Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad, with residents rushing out of homes and offices. Several citizens took to social media to share their experiences, describing the quake as “sudden but noticeable.”
