New Delhi: In a shocking incident reported early Saturday, three people — including a woman — were found dead inside a parked car on the Peeragarhi Flyover in west Delhi, triggering panic and a major police investigation.
According to police officials, the bodies were discovered inside a Tavera car parked along the flyover connecting Madhuban Chowk and Peeragarhi Chowk. The incident came to light around 3 pm after police received information about three occupants inside a stationary vehicle with their tongues protruding, indicating possible suffocation or poisoning.
Senior police officers, forensic experts, and multiple police teams rushed to the spot. The vehicle was secured, and all three bodies were shifted to a hospital for post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.
Police sources confirmed that one of the deceased has been identified as Randhir (60), who was found on the driver’s seat. The identities of the woman and the other man, both believed to be around 40 years old, are yet to be established.
Preliminary investigation has ruled out robbery, as cash, mobile phones, and personal belongings were found intact inside the car. There were no visible injury marks on the bodies, and no signs of forced entry were detected.
“The circumstances of death remain unclear at this stage. Post-mortem reports and forensic analysis will determine whether it was accidental, suicidal, or caused by toxic exposure,” a senior police officer said.
The area was briefly cordoned off as investigators examined the scene. Police are now scanning CCTV footage from nearby areas and questioning locals to piece together the sequence of events leading to the deaths.
The incident has sent shockwaves across west Delhi, raising serious questions about safety and unexplained deaths in public spaces.
