Delhi Crime Branch Recovers Missing Teen Boy, 19-Year-Old Woman in Separate Operations

New Delhi: In a major breakthrough demonstrating swift coordination and professional policing, the Southern Range Crime Branch of the Delhi Police has successfully recovered two individuals in separate missing/kidnapping cases. The recoveries, made from different locations in Delhi and NCR, reflect the department’s commitment to public safety and responsive policing.

The operations were led by Inspector Vijay Pal Dahiya under the overall supervision of ACP Girish Kaushik, with a specialized team comprising HC Sonveer, W/Ct Renu, W/Ct Arti, and W/Ct Mamta.

Case 1: Minor Boy Found in Dariyaganj
On July 1, a 15-year-old boy was reported missing from the Ambedkar Nagar police station area. Acting swiftly, the team located the boy at a hotel in Dariyaganj. Upon questioning, it was discovered that the teenager had left home voluntarily to pursue an acting career but got stranded in Delhi due to financial constraints. The police facilitated his safe return home.

Case 2: 19-Year-Old Girl Found in Noida
In a second operation, the team traced a 19-year-old woman who had been missing since April 21 from the Mukherjee Nagar area. Based on credible leads, she was found in Noida. The girl had reportedly left home intending to marry. A reward of ₹20,000 had been declared for her recovery. Police successfully reunited her with her family.

The Delhi Police highlighted that these recoveries underscore their efficient teamwork and humane approach to sensitive cases involving missing individuals.
