New Delhi: Delhi Police have arrested seven people in an alleged Instagram shopping fraud network and traced more than Rs 30 crore in credit transactions through suspected accounts.
The North District Cyber Police Station linked 27 cyber fraud complaints to the investigation, police said. The transaction trail reported by investigators is not a confirmed figure for money lost by complainants.

Phones, SIM cards and payment terminals seized
Police said the recoveries included 20 mobile phones, 45 SIM cards, 39 point-of-sale machines and two laptops.
The alleged organised network is being investigated by the North District cyber police. The account activity and linked complaints form part of that investigation; the arrests do not amount to a finding of guilt.
The police update did not specify the amount lost in each complaint or identify the people arrested.
