Date:

New Delhi: In a major crackdown on counterfeit goods, the Cyber Cell and Special Operations (SR) team of the Crime Branch, Delhi Police have busted an illegal manufacturing racket producing fake ENO antacid powder and counterfeit Nescafé products in Madhu Vihar.

During the operation, police arrested four accused involved in the well-organised network. Two illegal manufacturing units were raided, leading to the seizure of over 1 lakh fake ENO sachets and more than 50,000 counterfeit coffee sachets.

Officials also recovered filling machines, raw materials, and packaging equipment used to produce and distribute the fake products in the market. The racket was reportedly operating at scale, posing serious risks to consumer health and brand integrity.

The operation was led by Inspectors Manjeet Kumar and Pradeep Singh under the supervision of ACP Swagat Patil Rajkumar and DCP Rahool Alwal.

Further investigation is underway to trace the supply chain and identify other members involved in the counterfeit network.
