New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has undertaken pothole repairs, road resurfacing and footpath repairs at several locations in Delhi as part of measures to curb dust pollution.
DMRC said the work covers roads for which it has obtained working permissions from the agencies that own them. The exercise focuses on reducing dust and polluting material by identifying places where dust is being generated.

Repairs along Mehrauli–Badarpur Road
The corporation said road work has been carried out around Hamdard Nagar, Sangam Vihar and Maa Anandmayee Marg on the Mehrauli–Badarpur Road side. Footpaths have also been repaired at multiple locations, alongside road recarpeting.
Other locations listed for completed road work include Derawal Nagar, Aryavart Polytechnic T-point and the stretch between Azadpur and Tripolia Gate.
DMRC engineers monitor dust-control work
Roads are being relaid and footpaths repaired after dust-generating areas are identified, DMRC said. Its engineers and environmental officials are carrying out regular inspections to monitor these activities.
