Delhi to Open Registration for Lakshmi Yojana on August 1, ₹2,500 DBT to Eligible Women

New Delhi: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday congratulated the people of Delhi, particularly the women of the national capital, on the launch of the registration process for the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana.

The registration portal for the scheme will open on August 1.

Under the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana, eligible women will receive financial assistance of ₹2,500 per month.

The Chief Minister said the first instalment will be credited directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
