New Delhi: The Anti-Robbery and Snatching Cell (ARSC) of the Delhi Police Crime Branch has arrested two more alleged operatives linked to the Shahbaz Ansari transnational arms trafficking and terror module, dealing a further blow to the network.
Police said the latest operation led to the recovery of one sub-machine gun, three foreign-made semi-automatic pistols and 82 live cartridges.
With the latest arrests, the case has so far resulted in the arrest of 18 accused. Police have recovered 32 sophisticated foreign-made weapons and seized 363 live cartridges during the investigation.
The operation was carried out by Inspector Man Singh and Inspector Sunder Gautam under the supervision of ACP Sanjay Nagpal and DCP Chandra Kumar Singh.
