Delhi Traffic Police Rush Advocate to Hospital After Medical Emergency at ITO

Date:

New Delhi: A Delhi Traffic Police team posted at the busy ITO intersection responded swiftly to a medical emergency on Monday, helping save the life of an advocate who collapsed on the road after suffering chest pain.

According to Delhi Traffic Police, advocate Namneet was riding a motorcycle when he suddenly experienced severe chest pain and collapsed on the road at around 11.55 am.

Kamla Market Traffic Inspector Gopal and his team immediately reached the spot, removed the advocate’s helmet and administered CPR and first aid.

Considering the heavy traffic in the area, the team did not wait for an ambulance and instead shifted him to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital in a government vehicle within two minutes.

The advocate is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Delhi Traffic Police said the incident highlights the force’s readiness to respond to emergencies in addition to managing traffic.
