Over 59,000 Women Register for Delhi Laxmi Yojana on Day One; First ₹2,500 Installment on Raksha Bandhan

New Delhi: More than 59,144 women registered for the Delhi Laxmi Yojana on the very first day of enrolment, according to information shared by the Delhi government.

The government said the first installment of ₹2,500 will be credited to the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

Eligible applicants can register online through the Delhi Laxmi Yojana portal or submit applications by visiting their nearest District Magistrate (DM) Office, Common Service Centre (CSC), or District Women and Child Development (WCD) Office.

The Delhi government urged eligible women to complete their registration through the designated online portal or authorised facilitation centres to avail the benefits under the scheme.
