New Delhi: Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag Kumar has urged police personnel to continue serving citizens with fairness and uphold the rule of law, while emphasising the importance of strengthening public trust in the police force.
Addressing all Delhi Police field officers, including Station House Officers (SHOs) and other senior officials, at Adarsh Auditorium on August 1, the Police Commissioner said the public should have confidence that Delhi Police stands with them during times of need.
“You all continue to work in the service of citizens under justice and law. The public must have confidence that Delhi Police is their own and that in times of trouble, they can approach the police,” Anurag Kumar said.
The Commissioner called upon officers to remain committed to citizen-centric policing and ensure that people feel confident in approaching the police whenever they require assistance.
