New Delhi: In a major breakthrough, the Special Operations (SR) team of the Crime Branch, Delhi Police has arrested a wanted drug trafficker and local gangster involved in multiple serious criminal cases.
The accused was a proclaimed offender in an NDPS case registered at PS Kalindi Kunj and had been evading arrest for a long time. Police revealed that he is linked to at least 14 criminal cases, including charges of murder, attempt to murder, robbery, snatching, and offences under the NDPS and Arms Acts.
Officials described the accused as a desperate criminal actively involved in illegal activities across the city. His arrest is expected to provide crucial leads in ongoing investigations related to drug trafficking and organised crime.
The operation was successfully led by Inspector Parvesh Lamba under the supervision of ACP Swagat Patil Rajkumar and DCP Rahool Alwal.
Further investigation is underway to identify his associates and dismantle the broader network linked to him.
