Officers listed in the original order
The list includes Dr Vikas Sheokand and A. Venkatesh of the 2014 batch, Gursewak Singh of the 2015 batch and Renu Lata of the 2017 batch.
The 2018-batch officers listed are Vidushi Kaushik, Manu Himanshu, Sakaria Mihir Pravinbhai, Garima Tiwari, Vivek Bhagat, Ashish Kumar, Manish Ladla and Rohit Gupta.
Temporary arrangement carries no regular promotion benefits
The order says the arrangement will cease when the Union Ministry of Home Affairs fills the Additional DCP posts on a regular basis. ACPs holding the current duty charge will not be authorised to exercise the statutory duties of the post.
No additional pay is admissible. The officers cannot claim benefits relating to seniority, pay, allowances or the date of regular promotion, and their inter-se seniority will remain unaffected. The arrangement can be discontinued at any time without assigning a reason.
Government announces revision concerning Bhagat
In a later statement, the Delhi government said Bhagat had voluntarily requested not to avail the assignment until a full inquiry into alleged harassment of women journalists was satisfactorily concluded. It said the order would be reissued for the 11 remaining officers.
