According to initial information, a man identified as Rohit was targeted by unidentified assailants who opened fire, with three to four rounds reportedly fired during the incident. The sudden burst of gunfire created alarm in the otherwise quiet residential locality.

Delhi Police teams rushed to the spot soon after receiving information. During the preliminary inspection, officers recovered two empty cartridges and one live cartridge from the scene, confirming the use of firearms in the attack.

The injured man was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. His condition has not been officially disclosed yet.

Police Investigation Underway

Based on early findings, Delhi Police suspect that the incident may be linked to personal rivalry, though the exact motive and identities of the attackers are yet to be established.

An attempt to murder case has been registered, and multiple police teams have been formed to investigate the matter. Officials are examining CCTV footage from the area and gathering local inputs to identify the suspects and reconstruct the sequence of events.

The incident has raised concerns among residents, as the firing took place in a densely populated residential area, highlighting security challenges in the locality.

Police officials said further details will emerge as the investigation progresses.
