₹35 Lakh iPhone Scam Busted in Delhi: 14 iPhone 16 Units Recovered, Two Arrested

Date:

New Delhi: In a major crackdown, the North-West District Police have busted a ₹35 lakh iPhone delivery scam, arresting two accused involved in defrauding an online retail system by falsely marking high-value deliveries as completed.

The operation was carried out by the team of Sangam Park Chowki under Police Station Bharat Nagar, under the supervision of senior officers. The accused allegedly manipulated delivery records by marking premium iPhones as “delivered” without actually handing them over, causing significant financial losses.

During the operation, police recovered 14 sealed iPhone 16 (128 GB) units, with an estimated recovery value of around ₹10 lakh.

Officials described the action as swift, precise, and result-oriented, highlighting the vigilance and professionalism of the team in tracking and apprehending the suspects.

Further investigation is underway to determine the full extent of the fraud network and whether more individuals are involved in similar activities.
