New Delhi: The Delhi government has intensified its push for transparency, accountability, and faster grievance redressal with a series of key decisions taken at a high-level review meeting chaired by Rekha Gupta at the Delhi Secretariat.

During the meeting with senior officials and heads of all departments, the Chief Minister directed that all government projects costing more than ₹5 crore must be updated on the CM-Pragati portal within one week. The move is aimed at ensuring real-time transparency, time-bound review, and effective monitoring of large-scale public infrastructure works across the national capital.

In a major citizen-centric initiative, the Delhi government also announced the launch of a new grievance redressal platform, ‘Delhi Mitra’, designed to provide residents with a direct, simplified, and reliable channel to communicate with the government. The Chief Minister instructed officials to onboard all departments onto the portal and complete the technical framework at the earliest. Once operational, Delhi Mitra is expected to serve as a single-window interface for citizen complaints and service requests, significantly reducing delays in resolution.

The review meeting also focused on summer preparedness, with the Chief Minister directing departments to immediately begin work on critical services. Instructions were issued to ensure uninterrupted water supply, electricity availability, hospital readiness, road repairs, and other essential civic services ahead of the peak summer season.

Emphasising proactive governance, the Chief Minister underlined the importance of strict project monitoring and inter-departmental coordination to prevent service disruptions and ensure timely delivery of public infrastructure and welfare measures.
