Building Collapses After Massive Fire and Explosion at Factory in Bawana, Delhi

New Delhi: A devastating fire broke out at a factory in the Bawana industrial area of Delhi early Saturday morning, triggering a powerful explosion that led to the collapse of the building, officials reported.

Atul Garg, Chief of the Delhi Fire Services, stated that seventeen fire tenders were promptly dispatched to the scene in Sector 2 following an emergency call received at 4:48 AM.

Despite the intensity of the incident, the Fire Department confirmed that no injuries have been reported. The building’s collapse was attributed to the explosions that occurred within the facility.

Firefighters are currently working diligently to extinguish the flames and secure the surrounding area. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation as it develops.

An investigation is underway to ascertain the ownership of the factory and the nature of the products being manufactured there.

“We are committed to conducting a thorough investigation into the ownership of the factory and the production processes involved,” officials stated.
