The arrangements apply daily from 5 pm to midnight, or until the traffic arrangements for the day are withdrawn. Drivers of the affected vehicles have been asked to plan their journeys and use alternative routes.
Diversions at three points
At Delhi Gate, vehicles will be diverted towards Rajghat and onward to MG Marg, according to the police advisory.
At Chatta Rail, vehicles will not be allowed towards Netaji Subhash Marg and will instead be diverted towards Hanuman Mandir.
At the Netaji Subhash Marg–Subhash T-point, vehicles will not be allowed towards Chatta Rail. They will be diverted towards Shanti Van Chowk.
The advisory says these arrangements will remain in force daily up to and including October 21. Motorists should follow diversion signs and the directions of traffic personnel deployed on the ground.

Visitors have been asked to use designated parking areas and avoid parking on roads, footpaths or near intersections. Intersections must remain clear, with unobstructed passage for emergency vehicles.
