Delhi Metro Reopens All Station Gates, Restores Interchange Access

Date:

New Delhi: Entry and exit gates at all stations across the Delhi Metro network have reopened, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation announced on Saturday night, restoring access after security-related restrictions.

The interchange facility at all the affected Metro stations is also available, DMRC said in its service update issued at 10:07 pm.

The announcement supersedes the earlier update that 45 Metro stations would remain closed until 10 pm. Those stations had been shut since 9 pm on Friday for security reasons.

Road journeys may still be affected on Sunday. Delhi Traffic Police has announced possible diversions from 6 am on October 11, subject to the situation on the ground.
