New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday visited the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana registration camp in Shalimar Bagh, where she interacted with women beneficiaries, assisted them with the registration process and signed their application forms.
According to the Delhi Government, the interaction reflected the enthusiasm among women for the welfare scheme and their confidence in the government’s commitment to implementing its promises.
The government said that since the launch of the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana on August 1, nearly four lakh women have registered under the scheme.
Women who are yet to register have been urged to complete the process through the official portal or visit their nearest registration camp for assistance. The Delhi Government said it remains committed to ensuring that every eligible beneficiary receives the benefits of the scheme.
