New Delhi, July 24: The Delhi High Court has constituted a new Fast-Track Court to exclusively hear cases under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by the High Court on July 23, Hon’ble Chief Justice has ordered the posting of Ms. Anu Grover Baliga, who was serving as Judge-in-Charge of the Mediation Centre at Central District, Tis Hazari Courts, as Special Judge (PC Act) (CBI)-25 in the newly created Fast-Track Court at the Rouse Avenue Court Complex.
The order states that the newly designated court will exclusively try offences under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, along with connected offences.
The judicial officer will function under the administrative control of the Principal District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (PC Act) (CBI), Rouse Avenue Courts Complex. The order further directs that all pending cases under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, and connected offences be transferred to the newly constituted Fast-Track Court.
The order, signed by Registrar General Arun Bhardwaj, came into effect immediately following its issuance on July 23, 2026.
